VL Interior Light Question

Mate of mine has just picked up a 88 VL Berlina and the interior light is staying on all the time and we can't find a switch to turn it off or set it so that it only turns on when the doors are open etc etc

Anyone got an ideas?

Dimmer switch, has he tried to turn it down?

As Above,but the dimmer switch is located to the right of steering column and if lifted fully vertical, will click over and keep lights on permanantly.Push down abit for door activation and onto dimmer control,hope this helps. Martin

Sorry rb26dett,didnt mean to offend,they didnt seam familiar with the VL interior, so offered a bit more detail as to the workings of switch,but of course you were quiet right with your response.Martin
