vn 5 litre 5 speed into vl

hi guys just wondering if anyone has attempted to put a vn v8 and 5 speed into a vl. if so how much mods are involved . will it all just bolt straight in and will tailshaft ect be the same to fit in vl. i am thinking of doing a conversion just want to know what im up against first thanks wayne

use the V8 k frame, might ahve to tap some holes for the gearbox mounts, run a manual steering rack for extractor clearance... possibly have the tailshaft modified depending on which diff you use

the vl v8 k frame or the vn v8 k frame?

VN and VL k frames are the same mounting bolt points i thought??? just different engine mount positions

youl have to get the tailshaft modified to fit the diff and also get a custom speedo cable made up for the dash then just get someone to wire up the electrics its pretty straight foward
