b&m shifter in the vl

has any 1 put a b&m shifter in to there vl? iam just wondering whats involved and what shifter people are using. allso lookin at getin a shift kit. what would people recomend

Pro ratchet shifter.

You need to get the universal type, and you need to make a few cosmetic mods to make it fit.

if you weld a tray in the trans tunnel you can have the shifter sticking out the standerd hole and looks like its factory

prity sure there illegal, you just weld a box under where the standerd shifter comes out probebly a bit bigger then sit the pro rachet in that prity simple, havnt got any pics

They are legal if you have the light and neutral safety switch hooked up and the arrow that shows what gear your in has to be on the right side i think. Well thats how it was when I had mine in my old vk

I think you need a switch for the power button.
