platinum sparkplugs

changing the RB30 sparkplugs is a horrible job so does anyone use platinum or iridium sparkplugs which last longer

how much longer do they last?

Modified plenum = 5 min job to change plugs!

Standard plenum = 30 min job to change plugs.

I only use standard plugs, I can not see any point in getting more expensive ones.

i use irridium plugs in my wrx as thats what is suppose to be in it but.... they are also suppose to last alot longer than std plugs, like two or three times longer.

i use NGK R in the VK but i hardly drive it and they are easy as to swap out

so what did you do to the plenum?

My Plenum runs north/south not east/west like the standard plenum. No crossover pipe over the rocker cover so all plugs are easy to get to.
