me and a mate just replaced a head gasket in his vl and now it wont start every wire is in the right place every hose is in the right place it turns over but wont fire need help please really bad

dizzy may be 180 degrees out.

most likely u guyz coud have missed the timing of the belt, the dizzy maybe be off its spot also take a look at ur coil pack make sure thats working correctly

i had the same trouble when i did my CAS. it says to align the marking but as you push the dizzy in it pushes the rotor button above the the number 1 contact and then won't start. you have to move the rotor button down so as you push the dizzy in it brings it up just under the number 1 contact instead of over it.
