My workin on the car face
My project VL car
since i crashed my VN i got this VL by trading the engine and transmission. Not bad for a free car
been chipped, pod filter system with all the air sensors and a steel intake designed for turbos (instead of plastic), 2.5 exhaust and lowered.
but not registered, defected for tyres, no gauges work, bit of rust in the boot, starter motor on the way out and a few things that needm to be tightened.
Just changed the oil and replaced the front end. Next is the matching silver bumpers on the sides and a recoat of paint.
engine looks cool tho

the sun roof was cheaply put in by the last bloke so its not all that good and the spoiler is one he just found and bolted in hahah yea.... he did cut a few corners.
Does your sun roof leak??? I always wanted a VL with a sun roof, but I heard even factory fitted sun roofs are dodgey and can leak.

I had one with a sun roof it didn't leak just make sure you check it for rust...
Seeing this car makes me miss my vl's soo bad!! they are really awesome!! Sound like you got a good deal there, good luck with it!!

Yeh your old maroon VL was nice as. Didn't it get written off? Regret upgrading to the VX? Theres something about VL's what I love, the shape and the layed back old school interior. They feel Aussie!

My ex talked me into selling mine.... The one I regret letting him get rid of the most was my project car, turbo vl calais... it was so hot! somebody got a hell of a bargain with that car.. I wish I could find out what happened to it....
I don't regret getting the VX however I still am crazy in love with VL's and I have been looking around for one to get for a project...
