Glovebox

Hey guys, girls.

I'm at wits end at the moment, trying to pull the glovebox out so I can respray it and whack on the calais carpet piece. But I can't remove it.

It's the little pin on the right hand side when you open it, but I can't get it to budge, whats the trick?

it should just pull out mate mine just slides out maybe try a scrwdrier behind it not with to much force of course but it should budge then. oh and just to make sure you are talking about the right pin it is the one on the right hand side down the bottom the left hand side one doesnt move.

Thanks man, yeah that's the one I was looking at, tried a screwdriver too because I was sure it just came straight off. I put the bloody thing in 2 years ago, maybe I glued it haha.

I have another glovebox here, I'm just trying to figure out - if I can't get the other one out, whether or not I'm smashing the current one haha.. Ahh I'll keep trying.

oh ok then lol well if you did glue it it may be a good answer for why its not coming straight out. maybe try taking the dash off and hitting the little pin from behind if you can i dunno havnt really looked to see if you can get access to it from behind but could be worth a try.

plastic dashboard parts are sometimes very brittle and break easily so be careful

Yeah I don't really want to take the dash apart again, I think I might just break it and go and pick up another from a wreckers. Cheers guys.
