Default so, ah, where are the fuses man!

I pulled off what I thought was the fuse box cover under the dash, drivers side, near your right knee... only to be greeted with a large metal box where I kinda thought the fuses should have been (especially seeing as the cover had fuse locations and types printed on it)

    where did my fuses go?

Pretty sure all the fuses are under the bonnet (hav'nt worked on one for a while) so i might be wrong, prolly used the same moulds from the previous model that would explain why the panel has the info on it

Melted fuse rails are fairly common in VK/VL. Can get a quality replacement that wont melt from WA. Top bloke Ive bought 3 now!!

PM me if you want details. They are great PCB with LED indicators for blown fuses etc

majority of the fuses are located under the bonnet on the passenger side (as said already but bored so i'll repeat lol)
that little box under that plastic cover under the dash is the Automatic control box.(goldish colour)
i storngley suggest anyone with a vl that still has the standered fuse panel to go to autobahn dick smith Etc and buy a single external fuse holder for a blade style fuse and replace the wires going to the High beam fuse to the new fuse holder. 80% of the time its the high beam fuse melting and frying the board. or if you have the money laying around PM above and get a aftermarket panel they really are pretty cool and worth the cash

yeah, I worked out what it was, and replaced the fan fuse, and the highbeam fuse holder in mine was melted long ago, and replaced with an external fuse holder, which has a 25amp fuse in it now... might swap it for a 20 amp though...
