its not unknown for the wrong dipstick to be substitiued so measure the oil

thanks for the replies guys, I ended up finding it in the VL section, there is still an awful lot of info not on this site...

I asked, because I thought the dip stick may have been swapped, so I wanted a decent guide on how much to put in... I think I put about 4.5 litres in, with filter.

well every time i change the oil i ALWAYS change the filter, i allow it to keep dripping for about 10 - 15 mins, and use a whole 5L bottle which seems to do the job, then pour the old oil into the bottle i just emptied... been doing it for 2 years now and have never had a problem with it
