Engine swap..

My black 304 has died.. it chewed the bearings out on the crank, resulting in really back piston slap with the heads. The bloody thing won't even start anymore...

I got a VB SLE that has a red 308 and trimatic box & tall diff gears.

So i've put this running gear into my VL (need a few mods for rego, including engneers cert..)

I basicly put all new seals and gaskets into this red 308, while the heads were off I checked the size of the pistons, to my surprise they are 2mm (80tho over) with the stardard 308 crank, which seems to come to around 323ci, runs unleaded fuel as heads have been converted.

anyone want to have a guess at the power i've got under my hood... because ive got noidea haven't driven it yet!

Motor: Red 308
Heads: L34 spec
Carby: 602 Quaddy
Piston: 80tho oversized
POWER: Unknown!

I'll be getting the exhuast fixed up early next week, should be good for that engneers cert then!

Can't wait to have a decent drive.. eg Oran park or somewhere!
