    Default vs brakes to vl

    my vlc has discs al round and i was womdering if vs front hubs, calipers and rear park brake assy and calipers will bolt straight on?
    This is good site to watch.I found it informative as I have been researching a lot lately on such matters such as you talk about.

    They are the same size, not worth your trouble.

    You want VT if you want to upgrade.

    hmm are you sure? i would have thought that the vs being abigger faster car that its brakes, which seem to work a lot better, might have beetbigger. mine isnt a turbo just na 6.

    wouldnt bother bro, if you want better braking just get better discs for vl. next step up would be fe2 but theres a bit of cutting and welding involved to make all that setup fit

    The fronts are definitely larger on the VS mate. I have no idea about the rears so you may be right there.

    However, it is not as cost effective as the twin piston VT upgrade for the front.

    its cost effective for me, ive got a set of vs calipers, hubs, disks and p/b assy for $50.

    does anyone know from experience if they bolt straight up.

    yes the calipers do just swap over, did it on my G/Fs brothers VL, and is worth while IMO..

    thecalipers bolt straight on, but you have to use the VN/VP brake disks, and the VS brake lines a s they are shorter and wont rub on anything moving...

    cheers mate exactly what i wanted to hear.

    brake lines will be a straight swap aye mate? somebodys doing braided kits at repco so im gonna buy that i think.
