Stereo Loom - can't find it???

Hey guys, I just bought a manual n/a VL Berlina.

The guy i brought it off took out his CD player when he sold it. I tried to put a brand new one it today, but i can't find the loom for it???

Its got the aftermarket wires to the aftermarket speakers and the two wires i found out to be connected to a power antenna? There is nothing else. I've run a direct (fused) wire from the battery. But i need a ACC wire. What comes on when you turn the key backwards? Is the a way to run a new ACC wire?

can anyone help?

should be a black plug towards the glove box side.
7 or so cables on it.
brown black red pink orange yelow and someother colours.

Thanks for the reply, I still can't find it. Taken out half the dash so far. I hope the previous owner didn't cut the loom out of the car when he removed his cd player.

the big red circle is where the loom should be located if he cut the wires. (the arrows pointing is the steroe loom on my car. and yes its comming out of the glove box as i had to extend the wires from the standered loom as mine was cut as well

Ha! found the loom today. It had been cut. Bloody previous owner. Did it right next the main loom and then put more electrical tape over it. What a tool. The colour of the new tape gave it away. It just looked to new.

Anyway, cd player is in and works well.

Why the hell would someone cut the loom? Wouldn't it be simpler to just disconnect it, like you're meant to?
