    Default vl motor will not fire

    hey guys
    need help to find out what is the problem with vl left it sitting for two week went over seas got back whent to start the car but wont fire starter motor is kicking over would anyone have a idea what it could be

    flat battery?

    got fuel lol??

    has it been raining? wiring might be wet..

    got fuel , charged the battery today i put on a new ignition module new coil check fuse i put the spark tester on the plag number 1
    still no spark can hear the fuel pump

    If ya have power to the starter motor and in ya last post you say the battery is charged up could you have a look at the voltage metre in the dash?

    Maybe the battery isn't holding charge or one of the cells is buggered.

    Worth a check mate

    Are you sure the starter motor is engaging the flywheel? If it is then the power supply just hasn't got enough cranking amps to turn the motor over.

    Try to check how old the battery is too mate.

    crank angle sensor most likely at fault.. check for code 11 on the ecu.
    the germans designed it, the aussies built it, the japs got it moving and the wogs got it dosing...

    funny it stoped workin after sittin for 2 weeks...i assume it was goin fine wen u parked it up

    at least u did a search first man :P nice dig.

    if u cant hear the fuel pump running. check fuses/relays. check connections on the pump itself(the 2 wires, with spade connectors)

    if all good give it a whack! if no good could be seized pump. either high flow or inertia pump(intank pump) is failing..
