Would these rims fit on a VL?
Commodore VE 16"x7 Steel rims
What type of tyre would be needed if so?
they will need to be machined out. wont cost much
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
Does that mean moving the wheel nut holes? How much approx?
nah just the material on the inside of the rim where the holes are need to have a bit taken/shaved off. I should think about $100+ but thats only a guess.

This might be a n00b question, but that is completely safe to do right?

Cheers mate. Thanks for the help
How in the heck can you machine out those wheels? They are stock standard steel wheels and there will be bugger all left (if any) of the wheel hub once they are modified.

sounds deadly to me!![]()
Nobody wants to play with me
so i would have to get 15s instead of 16s for a VL?
Crikey!
I think the stud pattern is a little different too.
Not by much but i'm sure I read somewhere that that fitting them will put stress on the VL studs.
Personally, I'd get wheels that are exactly suited to a VL.![]()
The PCD is the same however the VE uses a different thread than earlier models.

im 99% sure ive seen 16'' interceptors on a vt as standard so theyd fit...
but to be on the safe side i wouldnt machine ve rims to fit a vl, youd be better off with 15'' stockies that were made to fit
