dash lights dont work

my mates got this VL with a RB20DET skyline motor in it.

one day the dash lights and tail lights stopped working, the strange thing is the fuse hasn't blown. i dont know much about the VLs, but is there a fuse box on the drivers side?

this cars wiring harness is in a mess looks like a hay stack.

what seems to be a fuse box on the VL low down on right side of dash isnt, its left over from previous models, for the auto it has some auto trans electronics there

the fuse you need would be under the bonnet left side at rear

fixed it.

turns out someone put a 15A fuse into a 7.5A circuit and it melted instead of blowing.
