strange noise from behind daashboard

this has only happened once so far but when I turned on the ign to get the fuel to engine, there was a clicking noise from inside the dashboard, a bit like someone strumming a guitar string, it astopped whan I started engine

any ideas on what it was?

could be a spring behind the needles on anyone of them,

does ur fuel and temp and tacho (if you have one) all work?

sounds like a sticky needle that comes unstuck hehe

one or 2 of mine always stick in the morning, good ol tapping the dash works for me XD

all gauges work and hasnt happened since, sounded like someone strumming a guitar in there at the back of the dash
