no more noisy lifters

my 6 cly VL had noisy lifters since I got it and Nulon lifter quietner only worked for a while, mechanic said use the mobil additive for the engine oil, I did and no more lifter noise at all
very surprised and happy, was thinking I needed new lifters at $20 each

its a common problem thats why theres so many views,
theres a thread on the r31skyline fourm how to clean them to stop lifter noise, ill post the link once i get back from going out

you can stick your finger in the oil filler hole and feel around to see how much muck or sludge is in there, new lifters are I think, about $20 each

yes but this wont show how the lifters are , as the lifter is a sealed little unit which has only a small holes for the oil to enter though thats where the oil gunks up in
