Replacing Upper bearing Assembly on Front Suspension

Have clunking sound in left front suspention tower at top,suspect bush or bearing in there is shot,how hard is it to change and what tools are required.Looks like wheel alignment could be affected too if pulled apart.How do I aliminate the need to re-aline again.Appreciate your expert advice as always. Martin

I agree! it can be quite dangerous doing this yourself as you will require the use of spring compressors, and if the spring slips out it can do some serious damage to YOU and /or anyone/anything around you.
and you will need a wheel alignment to preserve your tyres.
