    Default VL Auto Transmission - Rough downshift from Overdrive

    Hi guys/gals

    Anyone had the problem when the auto transmission downshifts to 3rd it comes in with a clunk ?
    Any easy fixes ?

    first check the fluid level, many auto trans problems are caused by the fluid level being too low or too high

    Thanks harry3, I'll check. Its about time the transmission fluid was changed anyway.
