Hi,just a simple question do all VLs with 6cyl come out with power steer?
yeah pretty much standard after the vk
Just got told about a VL wagon 5spd with 97,000 on the clock going up for sale and im told it doesnt have pwr str.Sounds strange.
hi first time on here just wanted to say that power steer was still an option until vs there are alot of vls going around without p/s and/or air alot of turbo converters get the vl without p/s and/or air so there custom pleniums and turbos have room.
any way just wanted to say hi and put my bit in
Thanks for the replys guys.
The SL had manual steering, the Exec, Berlina and Calais had power steering.
From the VN onwards, all Commodores had power steering as standard, it was not an option.
Power steering was not fitted to SL's and Executives! It was an option. Berlina and calais have factory fitted power steering.

as a matter of interest, how heavy is the non power steering? my berlina has power steering and according to the handbook the SL didnt
another question, how bumpy is the FE2 suspension, some testers said it was too bumpy back when VLs were new
VL steering is fairly light without Powersteering.
My SL never had it and never had any drama's at all.

I love power steering.
