Default hi stall

hey i have just got another 308 put into my car and rebuilt the turbo 350 gbox with a 3g hi stall, and drivin it the other day oil was ****in out of either the tranny or high stall. and the started stayin in second gear and revin at 4g while doin 80kmh, and then reving itself higher while driving then back to normal revs. i pulled up and then couldnt take off, kinda like having no more clutch left on a manual, but wouldnt move at all. so i dont know if the hi stall is now stuffed or not? my mate sed that wen there is no oil in the high stall they just dont work. i must of had a oil leak and smoke was ****in out off the engine bay. would the high stall be burnt out or would it still be usable again when i put oil in to it?

cheers

It shouldn't have burnt out the high stall converter. I would be more concerned about the pump in the trans from being run dry. I would just fill it up with trans fluid again then find the leak so it can be fixed and take it for another drive to see how it goes. You might not have done any damage
