Hi, I have a vl and in the mornings its hard to start, the starter motor moves really slowly. Once I finally get it started and have driven it for a little while, it just seams to be normal again.
Anyone got any angles I can work on to fix this problem?
possibly your battery! remove the filler caps and top it up with boiled/distilled water, also check that your terminal clamps are fitted tightly and your earth to the engine block is clean and tight. cold weather is hell on ya battery, I regularly check it but had the same problem you are describing just two weeks ago.

Nobody wants to play with me
mostly the battery im sure as jatsvl has said. Also the oil in the car is ALOT thicker in the cold mornings and the little starter motor not only has to move the whole motor but the very thick oil that the crank is dipping into.
But check out ur battery terminals and possibly get new ones ($5 for 2 of em).
also get some honest place to test battery to see if its wearing out, they dont last very long
check your air regulator, go to r31skylineclub.com and look it up in the technical section
