Complete rear diff assembly basically. Easiest way (maybe only?) way to do it is just swap the drum brake setup for the disc setup (axles, diff and all).

as above is the quickest and easiest way and quite possibly the cheapest too, you can do just the brakes but buying all the parts will be dearer than buying the whole diff assembly.

its possible to convert it to disk using vn brake parts but pricing is the key

i payed $200 for a complete disc rear end
i also priced up all the parts from 'u pull it' and the cost was basicaly on par with a complete rear end

so i ended up just getting a whole rear end

over here in nz the disc rear setup is pretty hard to come by. so if anyone could tell me (and the guy who started this thread) what parts are required to convert a drum rear end to disc brakes and how to do it, or if you have a link to a thread on this topic already, please let us know.

i am probably guna put vt discs on the front of my vl, should i put vt discs on the rear straightaway or will vl rears do?

cheers
