found water in the oil today no good ,how much am i up for ,good car apart from this

i just swapped the engine and trans out of my written off vl, came up to 500 bucks or something for the swap

are you sure its making a thick shake and its not condensation in the air causing a little foam in the cap

no just checked the oil ,is it a big job, looks like it, too many hoses an stuff

just checked oil again seemed ok i thought i was mistaken, looked under oil cap,yep white stuff there, checked rad cap yep same again ,car still seems to run ok, but

Just give it a good flush mate. Re-bleed your system and hope for the best.

if you want to try your luck, drain the system like bax said and chuck a stop leak cube or chemiweld in.
could give you a little more time to save before it eventually lets go

when mine went i only could get the car to idle with a hose shooting water thought the radiator, it was flowing out the exhaust just as quick
