put BRAND NEW timing light on various spark plug & coil leads =no spark
swapped over coil ,REPLACED Crank Angle Sensor brand new............. still the same ,no spark, relay under the fusebox cover clicks on
looked @ computer codes results are 14,23,24,31,32,14
ran test lead from pos batt term to POWER TRANSiStOR on DISt (brown-red wire terminal)
whilst cranking it flashes on-off with,
with key off OR in acc position TEST LIGHT stays on

from what you are telling me, and good info by the way, i would say its the crank angle sensor, which is located inside the distributor, not a difficult job and not that expensive really,
thanx reply but i have replaced it ,,CAS crank angle sensor brand new couple days ago
CODES ARE:
11 Crank angle sensor circuit
12 Air flow meter circuit
13 coolant temperature sensor circuit
14 Vehicle speed sensor circuit
21 ignition signal circuit
23 throttle switch circuit
24 neutral switch circuit
31 satisfactory operation (non air conditioned models) air conditioner circuit (air conditioned models)
32 starter signal circuit
34 detonation sensor circuit (turbo models)
44 satisfactory operation (air conditioned models)
hi thanx reply no i havent .tho i have had the computer out b4
i was also thinking it maybe the little resistor in the wiring loom that runs under the inner RH gaurd ..just opposite the battery
last one i had do this had a faulty fusable link, you need to check battery voltage out of the link with everything hooked up, WHILE CRANKING!!!!!if its less than 12 volts or so the link is ***ed, either that or the ecu has had a meltdown! Also check that the battery terminals are clean and tight and any earths that you can seeif you leave the ignition "on" try moving wiring near the battery and the fusable links, if you hear the relays in the underbonnet fusebox click or buzz then you have a poor connection, thats about all i can think of without having the car with me!!

just a random shot in the dark, have you got rust in the left hand side of your windscreen,
maybe water has ran though and soaked your comp causing it to short

thread Dig! this thread is 2yrs old, you'd be better off starting your own thread! with your current problems and what you have tried and tested.
and if you haven't already changed the cas, then that would be a good place to start.
Nobody wants to play with me
before starting a new thread i would do a search as this has been cover numerous amount of times and i am over repeating my self
My thoughts :P
