    Default your thoughts?

    i wanted to get a 2nd opinion on if i should paint the console white along with the dash. has anyone done this there VL? would you mind posting a picture or two?

    i took some pictures of the bits i wanna paint.

    oh and one more thing.. does anyone know of any good holden wreckers in the ACT or sydney??

    i agree with skot.

    however if you must change em, i'd get em upholstered, but if your gonna do that get a high tower console from a calais.
    This is good site to watch.I found it informative as I have been researching a lot lately on such matters such as you talk about.

    ive seen it been done and it sucked. looked so cheap and nasty and this guy did Ferrari yellow... ew.

    I don't know much about the sydney wreckers but there isn't much in the ACT. Speeds is good but not cheap. A couple of wreckers in Struggle Town wanted $180 for a VN bonnet (I nearly threw up). I am keeping my eye on all classifides and canberra times for guys wrecking cars.

    One guy suggested a wrecker in goulburn that would be heaps cheaper and only 40 min away.

    the plastic console is usually very brittle and breaks easily, especially the arm rest part
    get it upholstered remembering that any light colour will reflect in the windscreen
