    Default advice

    I just brought a VL need some advice about putting a new V8 in. Was thinking about a holden 304/308. will it slip straight in? what mods will i need to do? It will be used for hillclimbs circut racing etc. What about drivetrain etc. any suggestions there.

    buy a smashed v8 vl or vk for the driveline, K frame, brakes, suspension, etc, then find a motor and loom from a vn onwards.
