    Default sedan tailshaft to wagon?

    well as the title says take a tailshaft off a sedan and put it on a wagon.
    will it fit or not?

    dont know, some earlier holdens had a different length for manual and auto trans
    sedan and wagon have same wheelbase

    It won't fit.

    Distance from the centre bearing back is different wagon to sedan (wagon longer).

    Front section is the same, but auto to manual are then different (well thats for VN onwards)

    sedan to wagon exactly the same!
    measured it up, took it out, layed them side by side, put it in job done

    From memory the actual length of the wagon is shorter than the sedan by about 2cm.

    But as has been proven, the distance to final drive works out the same

    exactly^, wheelbase for wagon and sedan is 2668mm, the only things that I can see will not change over without mods is anything behind the diff, fuel tank,rear muffler,bumper etc.... and from the back doors to the rear bumper, moulds, lol taillights,
    next I will try the centre muffler and tow bar.
    Nobody wants to play with me
