Default starters

are manual and auto starters the same?

just double checking, as i am bit brain dead on the diffrence
its only the na boxes and turbo boxes which use diffrent ones as the fly wheels are diff size, right?
and the auto and manual is not any diffrent

Pretty sure auto and manual N/A are the same. Auto turbo is the same as N/A but the manual turbo is different.

I asked this exact question to doctor bobb about three weeks ago and he confirmed what I already knew, because I have put a starter from auto to manual and all is good, his response is in his thread, and goes something like there are only three starter motors listed and they are bosch, hitachi and hitachi turbo. nothing listed as manual or auto!
