Default engine missing under heavy acceleration

my RB 30 is now missing or cutting out under heavy acceleration only and only when warmed up, otherwise it runs well
    it restarts after cutting out

what could it be? I looked inside the dizzy head (OK) and checked the electric plugs on the crank angle sensor which are clean, coil electric plugs both clean

what else can I check,? plenty of petrol in tank and it hasnt done this before

How good are the leads? Do they "light up" at night?

Lol sparks in the dark? lol im guessing he's talking about checking the leads and plugs.

Remove your spark plugs (one at a time) then plug them back into the lead, (have a very insulated pair of plyers, or hold the plyers with a cloth) then hold the spark plug (with the lead attached) just a few mls away from your engine bay, you should see a light blue spark and hear a 'crack' sound.

If you see orange sparks and no crack, then either your lead or spark plug is on it's way out,

To test your lead, get a brand new spark plug out of the box and retry the same method.

If it's orange again, your leads pretty ****ty, if it's light blue and then you hear the crack then it's your spark plug that needs changed.

My mate had this kinda problem before, his petrol filter was clogged a wee bit.

Also check your air filter, and make sure all hoses are not cracked (similar problem happened to me, but it was a hole in my air hose)

Umm, that's all i can think of for now. message me through private messenger and give me a whole work down on the problem, i maybe able to help after i talk to my mate after uni

problem eventually traced to a faulty dizzy module, less than 12 momths old and installed by a local auto electrician who I wont patronise anymore, a cheap unbranded one that caused engine to stumble sometimes under heavy acceleration and sometimes to cut out, but it always restarted
also I note dizzy has no gasket under head, am pretty sure there should be one to keep dirt out

since these dizzy or crank angle sensor modules arent cheap, it would be a good idea to get a good quality one, preferably with a well known brand on it, mine had nothing written on it at all

This is good site to watch.I found it informative as I have been researching a lot lately on such matters such as you talk about.
