    Question Converting Drum brake's to Disc.

    HI everyone, i have a VL executive.. and i was wondering if it is possible to convert my drum breaks to disc breaks at the rear. and an approx price to do so...

    $250 for a whole disc diff from a wreakers
    $20 bucks for disc hand brake cable

    $___ for beers to fit (price may differ)

    Thanks for that, but isnt it rare to find a disc break diff?

    Is it possible to convert the drum to to disc?

    yeh its possible, not very hard at all... but VL Berlina 5speed has the best way of doing it... i was looking into doing the conversion but after all the mucking around, its hardly worth it...

    wow wheres the 250 buck disc brake diffs? take me there....ive been looking for one for soo long ..wreckers up here want in excess of 1g for a disc brake diff.

    its possible to convert your drum braked job to discs with a bit of know how and the rigt part.theres a tech article on calais turbo detailing how to do it.and yes because discs arnt self energizing like drums a larger booster wouldnt go astray
    the germans designed it, the aussies built it, the japs got it moving and the wogs got it dosing...
