need help asap

i have a vl 6cyl just had exchange motor put in, the cars factory auto the new motor came from a manual setup n we've left it auto. everytime the ignition is turned on the fuel pump fuse blows, i disconnected the pump, still blows. should i be looking at wiring or the ecu?

be looking at your wiring 1st.ecu wouldnt be the cause of your problem
