Default Expensive to replace door locks?

    Hey first post,
I own a vl/sl and all the locks are busted,
Is it hard or expensive to take it somewhere to get them all replaced? Would anybody have a rough estimate on how much it may cost?

    Thanks in advance!

the ordinary locks are OK and cheaper, ask at a holden dealer or locksmith about getting them
as the locks age, they usually can be opened by any VL commodore key which probably is part of the reason VLs are so often stolen

you can also jam a screwdriver into an ordinary lock and get into the car. solex locks on the other hand are harder to bypass
$120 isnt alot to pay for locks imo

aye but the normal dill on the street uses a flat head to pop off the door handle. got into an ex mates car he left on our property (vk berlina)with a flat head levering the top of this door ajar then using a hook to undo the lock from the inside.

pity that car will never run again :P

Probabaly for the amount of stuffing around this would take it would be easier to get solex locks and put them in.
