    Default Central Locking

    Hi guys the Central Locking in the VL is playing up none of the locks will lock either from the remote or the key it's like they are seized up. Any help would be appreciated.

    do you know if the unit is getting power?

    It's a Berlina so I think the central locking is factory but the remote/alarm is after market. It's getting power so I've got no idea.

    door trims off and lube them up, thats where I would start.

    have u tried it on the passenger door.. really not sure what the vl ones look like,

    but on the slide lock rod there maybe a black box looking thing with wires coming off it this may be faulty as this is what sends the signal to all the other doors

    should be one on both front doors...

    thats if its factory

    Finally took it up to the Auto Electrician.... he just went ahead and fixed it without letting us know how much and then told me $250 and the remote no longer works...

    Got him down to $200 because he should have called first but still it seems pricey, or am I tight arsed bastard?
