if so yeah they are a waste. i think the ones on the VS and such look bad too - kinda like the car is wearing goggles!
only ever seen one that looks good... they grey bars an calais inter nationals with the clear lites looks tuff as..

On the subject of tail lights (as I'm looking at replacing my faded ones) does $88.00 for a set of Berlina ones or $150 for a set of imported Executive ones sound fair ? (new parts)
And would the Berliner ones fit my series II SL ?

Is that from rare spares or holden spare parts???? some swap meets usually rip you off blind so thats not a great place. I also have a 1965 HD holden ute & they ( rare spares) want $78 just for 2 clear plastic indicator lenses so I would say $88 is not as bad as it may sound!!! If you havent tried rare spares go online and you can view a shopping list of parts they have for your car.

clear lights
i have seen a vl getting around westn syd with clear lights didnt look like the normal ones you bye thay looked custom looked like had mirrors behind the globes these one stood out and look mad thay were compleatly clear with red and yellow globes
