Hey, I'm keen on supercharging my VL Calais just to get abit more power out of it (dont wanna go overboard with it) and was thinkn the SC14 would be good for it, can anyone tell me do you need to make any mods for the engine to handle the little bit more power or could you pretty much just bolt it on and away you go?
Any help would be awesome
Cheers
why bother when you can pick up a turbo kit cheaper, easier to install and be legal to a certain point
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
Castlemaine Rod Shop make a kit i think.
Not worth it for the money you put into it and where the money could take you if you were to turbo the car. There are so many turbo cars out there for one simple reason. It's a formula that works. You can try and be part of a unique brigade and say you've got a Supercharged VL, but for the money, it's not going to be worth the bragging rights in my opinion
