RB30 on gas, anyone got one?

yeah i have mine on gas.
its the converter type not injected

Ahh cool,
Can you give me a bit of a run down as far as pros and cons etc, reliability, performance, cold starting issues and of course maintenance issues.
I have only mucked around on other engines with gas, we have a RB30 for transplant and thinking straight injected gas.

yeah starts fine and runs fine besides that i had an electrical fault with the gas system a few months back. fixed it myself only problem is doesnt run on fuel anymore.
powerwise there is a bit of a loss and i get about 300km of 20 bucks worth of gas and im not the most fuel efficient driver.
thats about all i can say really. my engine is very old looking for a new one atm but i wont be going gas only reason been i want the power from fuel and to lose a bit of weight by taking the gas system out.

yeh man when i got mine it was on gas and petrol....riped the gas system of tho..restricts the airflow with this huge ass humpy gas kit so i got that sittn in me shed ide prefure to pay a bit more coin for a faster vl lol
