Sounds right, I filled it up the other day and it took about 9L, but it wasn't completely drained and I needed a touch more from the hose when bleeding it.

the go when having a supercharged or turbo'd vl the best thing to do is chuck in a vl v8 radiator..my radiator bloke siad ****n outh thats the go...want to sure onit anyone else heard of this?

for the same price as a reconditiond 6 radiator why not get a reconditiond v8 one...4 core instead of a 2 core might b worth a go to keep me car cooler

when/if i do it(if i dont get any bad feedback from you guys who have heard the donts on this) ill let yas no how it goes

It wouldn't hurt, when I turbod mine I was still running the original n/a radiator with no troubles at all, in fact my current car is only running the n/a radiator and hasn't been up past half way yet. Gets fairly hot where I am too.

But having said that, I'm getting a new one soon, and if it's the same price then I wouldn't be hesitating about getting the better of the two.

i did a cooling system flush last weekend.
I had 10 Lt Aloytech 100 Gold and 10Lt of demineralized water was perfect for radiator, overflow reservoir and Bleed.
Make sure u take out the engine block bolt under the exhaust manifold toward the firewall bottom one to drain block as well :P

must admit I never bother to drain the block, just turn heater on and run hose water thru until its clear

never forget to remove both bleeder bolts and force water in thru radiator filler until it spurts out both bleeder holes to avoid the steam trap/ cracked head problem

the v8 radiator has a diffrent entrance for the coolant pipe
top one is on the LH side unlike the rb30 set up where both top and bottom are on the RH side

i reckonmend auto radiator as its a 3 core radiator
    where manuals are 2 core

hence why i have a new auto 3 core radiator in my vl
just plug off the trans cooler nipples if your cars manual

due to the nissan engine being squeezed into the VL, the outlet and intake radiator hoses are on the same side, a baffle in the radiator sends the water across for even cooling, this baffle can come loose, causing all the water to stay on the hose side, causing drastic overheating and cracked head, not a bad idea to feel if radiator is evenly heated after a long run, if loose baffle isnt fixed, same problem returns
