hey guys/gals,
i just bought a vl commodore and everything is perfect
BUT it has some minor scratches on the metal part of the car which will come out with a cut and polish.
what im worried about is the scratches on the plastic part ( the bumper ).
Does any1 have any suggestions on how to remove them? because they are doing my head inlolz.
thanks
Should be the same way, well I'd try and polish it out.
should i tell the person doing the cut and polish to fix them up while hes there?
Who is doing the cut and polish? At the very least they could have a look at it.
How big of a scratch is it?
im still not sure whos going to do the cut and polish because if it wont remove the scratches i might as well get it respayed.
on the bumper its nuthing major, just scratches where the previous owners have rubbed up against stuff or where little smart asses who think there cool scratch. u know what i mean ? lol
just give it a sand and smooth it out. touch up paint the bumper....
Better still respray the bumper again...
so if i repspray the whole car the scratches wont be visible at all right ?

at the deepest 1mm nothing deeper than that.
rip car apart and do a full respray canary yellow lol just joking.
pics of scratches?if its an easy color like white you could nearly find other whole replacement panels same colour depending on condition of your paint
lolz canary yellow good colour, but not on a car, thats my opion though.
back on topic now, yeah if i respray its gunna be black, with the silver rear and front bumper. so will that cover up the scratches and how much will a extremley basic but nice spray job cost?
( i cant post up pics of scratches because im picking my car up on saturday, becuause the previous owner is getting the RWC done. )
lol you gota be a vl turbo enthusiaste to under stand asbinyth yellow vl's
yeah just rub the panels back to metal if you have to.black you must have deep pokets?if your gona spend thousands and thousands you may want to wait for the perfect car?
Rub plastic bumper back and if deep scratches are still there, run some bog over them and rub it back untill the bumper is nice and smooth, then prime with bumper prime and respray in colour of choice![]()
