    Default Speed Sensor

    hey all, im having trouble with my auto trans in my VL Calais. Ive been told its related to my Speed Sensor and want to replace it. I took off my dash but cant work out where it is or how to take it off. any ideas?

    Its in the speedo, its a reed switch - it operates everytime a magnet goes past the switch, the contacts open and close, the switch is probably knackered
