Whats the difference between the manifolds (apart from the obvious)
are they both as practical as one another???
low mount is fine for your planed application
high mount is only need when you try fitting bigger turbos like a t51 or the gt35/40
or want to look like a tool having your small t3 mounted yp in the air
some people have managed to sqeeze a gt35/40 under the factory manifold with a spacer

yea thats what i thought that it would be easier to work on aswell, oh and whats the difference between a wastegate and bov? i just want that psssssss sound lol.
not that dose or whateva its called
Wastegate handles the high pressure on the Exhaust side.To much pressure for tubo to keep up so the wastegate opens to let out excess pressure
Blow off valve is when pressure is built up in your Intake piping(From Compressor housing of the turbo) rushing into your throttle body when you let off the butterfly closes and there is high pressure still coming from turbo so it needs to be let out hence Blow off Valve thats the PSSSHHHHH u hear. Saves the turbo.
If you dont have one the excess pressure in your intake piping is forced back through the impeller fins in your turbo and can cause damaged.
Blow off can be plumbed back into your exhaust side to keep your turbo spooled up between gear shifts therefore minimizing turbo lag.
i got a highmount manifold, which i will be putting in shortly.
Hopefuly its all good i have seen a few setups with highmount looks good, easy to work on etc.
High mount is also defectable. If you have a low mount with a gt35/40 and a heat shield over it, it will make it harder for cops too see that you have a bigger turbo on your car. Another less defect.

I thought low mount turbos spooled up quicker, or is that smaller turbos spool up quicker?
is a turbo a defect so to speak vl_5speed or is it that cops dont like em in a way?
Smaller turbos spool up quicker southy

high mount is so much easier to work on turbo comes of in 5 mins and takes a thurther 20 min to take manifold off and same the other way around.
youll probley find high mounts r cheaper then low mounts.. im still getting a low..
** An intresting fact.. the dude at autobarn claims his lancer has a low mount suitable for rb30, ididnt see his ride outside so i dont know the model **
