If so i need to know how far and how wide to drill hole?
I have already drilled about 5 inches and am still to hit oil and im getting worried.
I have looked everywhere on the net and no where tells how far to drill.

what type of hose? you cant just use rubber hose you know lol.. a braided line that long would cost me about $250 and i already have a oil feed line made ready to go on the bung already there i just gotta drill it till i find oil.

ok after some research you can drill and tap to suit im unsure on how deap but you would want to do this to a stripped engine really and you definatly dont want any metal filings going into the turbo

i had my series one block drilled a few weeks back

you need to drill 175mm to reach the oil gallerys which are on the other side.
make sure you drill straight as you are drilling between cylinder 3 and 4

make sure you use lube to keep the drill bit cool and keep removing it to get all the drilling swath out.

runn compresed air into the sump to help blow any filings back out so when you break into the gallerys
the hardest part is getting a dril bit that long,
Captian thread had to buy the drill bit which took two weeks to source and was $56 just for that

i had Brenton from Captain thread (in adelaide) do mine and he did top work,
i would highly recomend getting him to do it if your unsure
he charged me $110 to do mine,
i also got the water feed and oil drain done too, ive also had many exhaust manifold studs drilled and tapped

you can also run the oil drain back into sump you just have to have it high enough so it can flow

Saves drilling and risking damage with swarf or not drilling straight just use a T-piece on the oil sensor under Plenum as u know that is a pressure point and a nice constant feed of oil.
I get a reading of 60psi on my aftermarket gauge from that point and im gonna use that point when i put my turbo on very soon
    Mwahhhhhh

thanks for the photos mate, but they didnt help me 100%, the ecu I have looks the same as the NA computer you have shown me there, but it has another board on top of it like the turbo one, but it is only half the size of the knock sensor board show in those photos?it takes up half of the ecu... i might go take a photo to show you all?
