quick turbo exhaust question

hey all my dump peipe is 3inch going into my 2/half exhaust.. it should be cool until i get a full 3 inch oneday??

or is there no need for a full 3inch??

Get as large as you can to the cat, then after the cat 2 1/2 should be fine if you dont want to replace it with 3 inch

It all depends on boost. With a turbo the bigger exhaust the better. Go full 3" if you can, but it still depends on the turbo outlet. No point in going a bigger cross section than that.
