1988 vl berlina project

i have a vl berlina 1988. i have an rb26 motor in the shed and a 3 litre in my other vl and im gonna join the two togethor.
i have a 5 speed skyline gearbox. its got calais wheels and is lowered on king springs with a full 3 inch exaust and 4 1/2 inch tip.
im just woundering if anyone could give me any advice or help with parts.
or things to look out for as im doing it.
im looking for some calais parts to add to it as well.
im on a tight budget so i cant go to big yet but all advice is welcome
