Is it the law to have backseats in your car up here in queensland? i just wnna know before i take her out for a spin again, dont wanna get pulled up and cop a defect..

Interchangeable seats what model types can be used in the vl?

1. You have to have the amount of seats installed in the car that the rego papers say are installed in the car. So if the papers say 5 seats, you must have that number of seats, though I think in some states you can change the number of seats, provided you let the transport department know.

2. Anything VB -> VL should fit in the VL.

The front seats are like the back VB-VL only?? Just thinking if i had rails to go with the seats..i might just have to make new holes lol

If i wanted bucket seats for the front, would i require an engineers cert???

VL Commodores have a different left hand front seat mounting assembly than that of the VB to VK. This can be modified.

So yeah...a bit of work..but doable.
