    Hi GUys,

Went to remove my boss kit today and discovered why my horn is not working...there is no wiring there

anybody know if this is a HUGE problem?? and does your auto elec or mechanic usually fix this problem??

    Thanks again in advance..

p.s. LS1 conversion into a my VL is imminent

Might have to buy another horn and rewire it to your own control, thats what i did.

Unless u got a manual so u can follow the wirining diagram..

Both VL's i have dont have the original horns..

the horn should be under the front bumper bar, by the way, a horn button on the dash would be lots easier

Pull the boss kit off, and look behind it (in the recess behind the wheel) It's a black wire with gold trace if I remember right. Mine was cut, and shoved behind the boss kit. If its still there, its just a matter of extending the wire. If it's not there, your going to have to run a new wire.
This is how my VN is set up. But i took it to an auto sparky to have it done. Cost me $140, but it fixed it.

(also if the wire is there, and you extend it. Then all of a sudden, the horn only works with the car off, you will need a new ground.)
