    Default Ride Heights

    Hey guys
Had a quick look on the forums but couldn't find what i was looking for, probably using wrong key words.
Whats the legal ride height for a VL? I bought my car lowered and often have problems with it rubbing if i hit a bump to hard (panhard bar ive been told...moneys the issue getting that atm). So i was wondering if its been lowered past legal height, and also where do i measure to check??
    Cheers

    345mm Front
    295mm Rear

Measure from the top of the guard, to the middle of the hub/centre

its only illegal if you cant turn your front wheels lock to lock without hitting guards and the lowest point of the vehicle including exhaust is over 100mm's

had a look at your car the front looks to be at the right height i probably wouldn't lower up front but the rear can go much lower

here are some pics of my old cars for reference to height

Keep in mind SA also has the 100mm rule, and some cars at legal eye brow height will have less than 100mm clearance, thus still defectable.
