steering rack

my steering rack seems a bit lose where the balls goes into the rack for the tie rod ends. what i want to know is there anyway to adjust them to take up the slack in them.

if there is that much play where you say you maybe able to take the boot off and tighten the cups with a stilsens wrench or
rebuild or replace the rack.

so you can tighten them can you. on my old tori i could, i just wasn't shore if they were the same or not.

I wasn't aware you could tighten them.
As far as I know, you unscrew and replace the rack end.

i just tighten it up and it took the slack out off it. thats what i ment.
