drain power steering fluid and replace, its self bleeding
while under car their should be a plastic tube to equalise air pressure in the rack, this is often knocked off by bush bashing and if missing will cause problems eventually
ok I will check and drain fluid etc, but come to think of I bought it of my friend who is 83 and he always like spinning the wheels so it wouldnt surprise me if he did hand brakeys
yer it sounds like metal on metal though, but I dont touch the brakes or can find anything rubbing ,but the rear pads do look a little low
no its only on light turns ,the wheels are only 15's nothing much bigger than stock & no steering wheel shake
No none of the above
Just found the rear axel has movement in it when the brake caliper is removed ,I think the bearing is stuffed
just get a whole new diff. would probably be cheaper.i picked up a diff for my VL for $80 and its a peice of piss to replace.
and a bearing cost around $30
just do the bearing.
Nobody wants to play with me
I found a promblem with the passenger side axel , but when I went to replace it with a new axe out of a VL ,It was too long even though both of them were the short axel ?
Also since its a disc brake rear I was told the bearing had the drum brake seal in it ,it would cause the movement I have
But I havent checked that one out yet
