    Default Thread size for 5 speed gear stick

    Hey guys was just wondering if anyone knows the thread size for the gear knob on a vl 5 speed gear stick as I want to make one. I did hear somewhere it was M16X2 or M16X1.5 but not sure.

    Got my car back yesterday and answered my own question. It's M10X1.25 metric fine. I've got a piece of stainless and i'm gonna make the knob tomorrow. It'll have the holden logo on the top. I'll post pics to see what you guys think.

    This is just a test piece not made out of stainless, any thoughts? I think it would look pretty good made out of stainless then polished.
